Dolphins, Cheetahs

Young dolphins can not take care of theirselves. They do everthing her mother dose. Their bodies are half in & half out of the water. The bottomnosedolphins live right above Anarctica almost in the Pacific Ocean. Their moans, groans, squeaks, whistles, & grunts can sound as if they? Are a heavy metal band. But bottlenose dolphins make their own kind of music. Many of the sounds they make could be imitated by holding a balloon tightly by th neck, then letting the air out faster & slower. Bottlenose dolphins send messages to one another in different ways. They squeak & whistle & use body language-leaping as high as 20 ft. (6 meters) in the air, snapping their jaws, slapping their tails on the surface of the water, & even butting heads. So what are they trying to tell each other? They can alert each other to possible dangers, let others know there is foos nearby, & keep track of others in the group. Nasal sacs inside the dolphin? s head are what make it poaaible for dolphins to vocalize. Fastest mammal on land, the cheetah can reach sppeds of 60 or prehaps even 70miles (97 or 113 kilometers) an hour over short distances. It usually chases its prey at only about half that spped, however. The cheetah’s excellent eyesight helps it find prey during the day. Sometimes it perches on high places & watches for prey.
